Specialty services are usually based upon need. How do your needs translate into a specific legal area? When choosing an attorney there are several factors to look for. Experience is key, but length of practice isn't always an indicator of requisite experience. Ask the questions: How long have you been practicing in this area of law? What percentage of your practice is devoted to this type of case?

If your case will require going to court ask the attorney: How many of these types of cases have you taken to trial? How many within the last 2 years? If a jury trial might be necessary also ask questions to make sure your attorney has recent jury trial experience.
